SK808 Atlanta's Next Producer Up

Q: What made you get into producing? Let us know your introduction into music.

A: I’ve been a musician my entire life…later on I just realized that I could go from the instrument world to the producing world and make a bigger impact and what not….of course I still use my talents in today’s work

Q: Who or what inspires you to make music?

A: Anything….sometimes it’s where I am….sometimes it’s somebody I’m listening to……..clothes…skateboarding….paying attention to details……all the things I’m into to be honest….it just varies

Q: What is the biggest lesson you learned while working in the music industry?

A: Simple damn near always works……but when you get to overthinking the beats….rarely as much

Q: What advice would you give to up and coming producers?

A: You gone have up days and down days.......just keep creating.....especially if you want it that badly.....never stop creating.

Q: What is your favorite record placement and why?

A: I really don't have a favorite but if I'd have to say so far.....it's the unreleased ones.....lol

Q: Who do you look up to Music Producer wise and why?

A: Of course the greats like Southside, TM, Sonny, Metro, and out of all the newer guys it’d be Wheezy, but I fr feel like I’m getting into the same lanes as the ones I used to look up to….and then my favorites as of right now? Most are my peers lol we all work with each other half the time just like I get to work with some of the guys I used to look up to.

Q: Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years?

A: Plenty more plaques and accolades and more creative businesses that tie into the industry in some form……also while seeing the artists I work with and been developing, start and level up their careers…..just being high level in 5 years or less tbh….get what I mean?

Q: What DAW do you use, and what is your favorite plug-in?

A: I use FL Studio and honestly I can’t say I have a favorite lol it might just be one specific VST I’ll be using at the time…..sometimes it’s been octave, some times pigments, sometimes nexus (if I have it), sometimes it’s stock shit that I just automate and flip. I really be tryna make new weird sounds and oneshots to use and just make Melodies out of those to flip.

Q: What makes you a hot producer?

A: It’s a couple things in my opinion humbly speaking……my versatility…..there’s not a sound I can’t do…..also the fact that I enjoy artist development and pushing new sounds just as much as I like getting placements. I have artists I work with like 6lueLing0, Lil Bruh Cartier, LGM Quis, YoDogg, RealRecognizeRio, etc and producers that are upcoming and buzzing…..and those are just the local Atlanta ones I been fucking with….so imagine what other sounds I have in other places like New York, Jersey, Cali, Chicago, etc….then we can talk some international as well…..Last thing…..I try to be more global than just local….but I have a advantage being actually from Atlanta……the hottest city in the country right now….most wanna come here and be apart of what we doing….so imagine when you move around…
